I've seen lately browsing through magazines and going through tweets to see that denim is going nowhere and seems to hit bigger for the autumn winter season coming up. Yes we all know we cannot go without our denims especially our jean right?? But lets face it denim is FOREVER.
In this post I'm going to focus more on the denim on denim aspect , as I actually love the 'look'.
I'm going to be discussing the do's and don'ts of wearing denim on denim from my point of view. So here it goes..
DO's
- Do break your denims with bright colour accessories (shoes,bag ect).
- Its always a good idea to break it with the colour tan.
- I feel that breaking denim with a nude shoe always does the trick and keeping accessories simple.
- I would also go with a dramatic print shoe(leopard print or so).
- Pairing a blazer with your denim-on-denim look will add more fun like a bright pink would be for fun or settle for white do keep it sophisticated.
- NEVER wear the same denim tone together its a huge NO NO.
So looking at my points above, I see my DO's seem to be greater than my DON'TS points, so for those that are too afraid of rocking this look why not give it a try? By following some of the points in the DO's I'm sure you'll be rocking the denim-on-denim look.
