Review : Nature's Nourishment Skin Cleanser For Sensitive Skin

 Hi Beauties ,

Today I will be sharing a new facial cleanser that I've been using for quite some time now about 4-5 months to be exact,  it's called the Nature's Nourishment Skin Cleanser for sensitive skin.

I was always wanting to give this facial cleanser a go because I've read such good things about it and I needed a cleanser at the time because my skin was just looking not so great because I did not have any cleanser left at the time and needed one asap.

Firstly I loved that it was super budget friendly and I only payed R39.95 can you believe it ?! I was even more impressed when it took care of my blackhead problem on my nose area. This cleanser is a bit different to the normal ones I use like its not a foamy texture once applied it gives a instant soft feel , like you applying Vaseline and leaves your face feeling soft after using . I also love the fact that its a 2-1 as the packaging says it can be used for face and body.

Why you should give this product a try:

  • Softens and cleans
  • Fragrance Free
  • Non -Irritating Formula
I rate this product 5/5 and would definitely purchase again , so for all those that have a sensitive skin type and on a budget I would 100% recommend.

Product can be found at Dis-Chem Stores and online store too.

Review : The Body Shop - British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask

Hi Beauties ,

Today on the blog I have a awesome review The Body Shop - British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask
Everyone loves a good self pamper and it should include a good mask do you agree ?

I loved the scent immediately , you can literally smell the rose extracts as you open the jar. What I also noticed that was different about this particular mask that you could see that is was infused with real rose petals.

How to use : Once your face is fully cleansed , apply the mask on your face and keep on for about 5- min as stated then rinse with lukewarm water. You can keep on for longer , I did and had no side effects such as a rash or burning sensation (this is really depending on your skin type).

This mask for me was very different to the ones I usually use and more like a gel type (reminds me a bit of the drops of youth - sleeping mask ) and it felt very light on the when applied which I loved. My face looked fresh once I was done , I really need to get me more of the British Rose Range.

I also think this mask is perfect to apply before you on your way out it gives it enough time to give your skin that fresh dewy look in a few minutes.

Why you should give the British Rose Mask a try :
  • Moisturizes Skin
  • Soothes and tone skin
  • Refreshing gel texture
  • 100% vegan
I rate this 5/5

You can purchase online https://www.thebodyshop.co.za/ for R390
It might be a bit pricy for some but if you have extra to splurge its definitely worth it. Also go in store and ask for a sample if you not sure its for your skin type.

If you have used the mask please leave a comment below I would love to hear your thoughts.

Beauty Tool : Rose Quartz Facial Roller

 Hi Beauties ,

I think this will be the first time I will be reviewing a beauty tool on my blog. I've been using this beauty tool - The Rose Quartz Roller for more than a year even before it really became a huge hype in South Africa.

before we get to my thought on the Rose Quartz Facial Roller let me tell you what it actually is and what benefits comes along with using it.

The Rose Quartz roller is especially for lymphatic drainage and to improve skin elasticity.

Benefits when using the facial roller :

  • Reduces puffiness
  • Good for blood circulation
  • Helps to absorb oils or beauty products into the face
  • Smooth out wrinkles
  • Reduces stiffness and tension
My thoughts on the facial roller :
I absolutely love it! When I don't use it for some time I can actually see the difference when not using it for a while. My favourite time using it when my face feels really tired/strained. It also really works well when applying serums and after a face routine.

I found this cool map on the internet to give you a guide how to use your roller.

I purchased mine from Sh'Zen , it now retails for R459.

Please let me know if you love using the jade roller too comment down below what your favourite skincare tool is .

Review : Sukin Blemish Control Starter Kit

 Hi Beauties

#TradeExchange

I'm back with an exciting review. I have been reviewing the SUKIN : Blemish Control Range Starter Kit over these couple of weeks.

The kit includes Clearing Facial Wash , Pore Perfecting Toner , Spot Banishing Gel and an Oil Free Moisturiser . The 4 step range is all you need to get your skincare journey started.

I was super excited to be part of this project as you all know how I love skincare and what made me more excited that it is a all natural range - 100% natural Vegan and Cruelty free.

The Sukin Blemish Control Range is packed with active ingredients and botanicals like eucalyptus , moringa , quince , pomegranate , tea tree , willow herb and salicylic acid - which are all ingredients to help reduce blemishes and the appearance of redness.

First Impressions Once Applied :

I love the fresh scents firstly of all the products in the kit. Once applied I had no reactions to any of the products. When using the toner (Step 2) I thought I would get a reaction as it smelled a bit strong on my opinion but safe to say it gave a refreshing feeling to the face once applied.

As the days went on I could see a possible breakout coming along and my cheek area looking a bit bumpy and after using the range the next morning the pimple coming didn't come out further and the bumps on my cheek were gone.

Final thoughts :

I am please to say that over the weeks of using the range I am very happy with the results and can see changes to my skin. It looks more blemish free and my skin 100% agree with the products. I also love that the scents are fresh and you can smell all the natural ingredients. So if you have Blemish prone skin this is the product to start with.

I rate this 5/5 and would purchase.

Review : Clicks Skincare Collection - Rooibos + Anti-Oxidants SPF 15 Day Cream and 3-in-1 Facial Cleanser

 Hi Beauties

Today I have review on facial products from Clicks . I've been using it for a few months now and I'm very happy and thought I would share.

I was on the hunt for a SPF but unfortunately my budget did not allow me to get the one I want so I came across the clicks skincare collection and I was very curious and like normal its always the packaging that gets me. I then purchased the SPF Day Cream and a facial cleanser because I ran out of facial cleanser.

Clicks Skincare Collection - Rooibos + Anti Oxidants SPF Day Cream R69.99 (50ml)

  • Protects skin from UVA and UVB rays.
  • For normal and combination skin.
  • Contains Goodness of rooibos
because there is SPF in the day cream I feel that it gives a very matt finish once applied to the skin. I love the fact that your face doesn't feel super sticky like some sunscreen once applied I suppose it because its a cream containing SPF. There was once or twice that my skin did act up on the cheek area like little bumps but not major reaction , no burning sensation or so. I love the light scent it gives off.

Clicks Skincare Collection Rooibos + Anti-Oxidants 3-in-1 Facial Cleanser R64.99 (150ml)
  • Gel Cleanser.
  • 3-in-1 Cleanser.
  • Contains Goodness of Rooibos.
  • Removes Dead Skin Cells.
I really loved how soft this cleanser was while feeling the soft grains gently exfoliating your skin, the scent is also amazing after using it for some time I'm happy with the product.

All in all I think the Clicks Skincare Collection is super affordable and I would like to test and try the other collections and product. It is super budget friendly especially the 3 for 2 promos.
I would purchase the rooibos brand again especially if I'm on a budget.

Review : Eucerin UreaRepair Plus 5% Urea Body Cream

 Hi Beauties ,

#TradeExchange

I was sent over a a Body Cream from Rubybox and Eucerin to Test and Review and I was super excited to be part of the test and review group.

Eucerin UreaRepair 5% Urea Body Cream - Review

I've been using the Eucerin UreaRepair Plus 5% Urea Body Cream for a couple of months now and I must say I am very happy with it, before I give my final thoughts here is a little more info on the Eucerin Body Cream :

  • Fragrance Free
  • For those who suffer from dry , rough skin or those that suffer with psoriasis
  • Gives immediate relief
for my OG readers you know that I suffer from psoriasis / eczema from time to time and I have been sharing some products that work for me so I was very excited.

I've never used Eucerin products fully before beside using my moms Sunblock mildly and I loved it because I only heard/read great things from the brand.

When applying the body cream after first application I can definitely say it is smooth and super hydrating.

The area I put it to test was behind my ears and legs as I have flaky skin because currently that is the area suffering the most at the moment. After a few applications I can say that it does make a difference and the flakiness have not been that much since using the Eucerin Repair Cream. So all in all its a very moisturizing cream and the are will stay hydrated for a period of time and great if you have DRY SKIN.
I would definitely use this product again for certain parts of my body it helps a lot where it is dry.

I would suggest that you should not use it on any broken skin as it will burn and not on your face if you have super sensitive skin , because sometimes it does leave a burning sensation once applied.

Let me know if you have used the Eucerin UreaRepair Plus 5% Urea Body Cream and how you found it?

Retails for R249.99

Have a lovely weekend.

Stay Fabulous

Review : Avene Thermal Spring Water

Hi Beauties,

Its been ages and this post has been sitting in my drafts so here it is, a product that I love that I really wanted to share!

OMG ! let me just say that I have been dying to try this product forever since it launched I've been itching to test it because I only read great things about this brand.

So I've been using this since October last year, clicks had a sale and I had to take the opportunity and purchase because it was worth it. I got the 300 ml and can you believe its only finished now after using it like crazy I'm surprised its lasted so long.

The cool thing about this product is that it can be used for soo many things like:
  • Irritated skin
  • Sunburn
  • After Shaving
  • Facial Redness
  • Make-up removal
  • Skin irritations
  • After Exercising and even diaper rashes
How great is that this one product is like an all rounder! right? I love it
Super glad I had it for the Summer season I was literally using it everyday to cool off especially my mom she can't get enough of the spray and I've also been using it for my eczema which helped a lot it gave relief for all the itchiness. Every visitor we had we recommended the product like we were getting commission haha that's how great it is!

Avene will definitely be a products I will invest in , I am very keen to try the other products (I do have the face wash review coming soon). When I do see promotions I will purchase especially the Thermal Spring Water I see this being a permanent product for my skin/body for years come.
I rate this product 5/5

Have you used the Thermal Spring Water Before ? Do you love it and does it work for you ? I would love to know please comment below. Also which Avene products do you think I should try next?

You will find the Thermal Spring Water at Clicks and Dischem and their online stores.

Have a lovely day and thanks for reading I really appreciate it.

Review : Himalaya Blackhead Clearing Walnut Scrub

Hi Lovelies

I'm back with a review , a new exfoliator I've been trying out for some time now - Blackhead Clearing Walnut Scrub by Himalaya - is enriched with walnut granules and natural salicylic acid.

I don't think I put any products of Himalaya before on the blog but I have been using some during the years and I must say I am a fan of the brand.

If there is one thing I love reviewing its exfoliators/scrubs and you must know that by now. To me this exfoliator was different to the one I previously used before, it was the African Extracts exfoliator (which I love) but that was more gel like.

When I saw the the word blackhead I took it because my nose area has too many blackheads for my liking and I know many of you have blackheads too,  and I wanted to try another brand and introduce it to you especially if it's affordable and worth it.

Why give this product a try:
  • Removes blackheads
  • Gives your face a refreshing look
  • Has natural Salicylic acid which loosens dead skin cells
  • Unclogs pores
  • Help stimulate skin renewal
I mainly bought this scrub for my nose and chin area as I find that those areas you can visibly see my black/white heads and after using it those areas it looked much cleaner and smoother. I will be purchasing this product again I give it a solid 5/5

You can purchase the Himalaya Walnut Scrub at http://www.himalayaherbals.co.za .
