Review : Clicks Skincare Collection - Rooibos + Anti-Oxidants SPF 15 Day Cream and 3-in-1 Facial Cleanser

 Hi Beauties

Today I have review on facial products from Clicks . I've been using it for a few months now and I'm very happy and thought I would share.

I was on the hunt for a SPF but unfortunately my budget did not allow me to get the one I want so I came across the clicks skincare collection and I was very curious and like normal its always the packaging that gets me. I then purchased the SPF Day Cream and a facial cleanser because I ran out of facial cleanser.

Clicks Skincare Collection - Rooibos + Anti Oxidants SPF Day Cream R69.99 (50ml)

  • Protects skin from UVA and UVB rays.
  • For normal and combination skin.
  • Contains Goodness of rooibos
because there is SPF in the day cream I feel that it gives a very matt finish once applied to the skin. I love the fact that your face doesn't feel super sticky like some sunscreen once applied I suppose it because its a cream containing SPF. There was once or twice that my skin did act up on the cheek area like little bumps but not major reaction , no burning sensation or so. I love the light scent it gives off.

Clicks Skincare Collection Rooibos + Anti-Oxidants 3-in-1 Facial Cleanser R64.99 (150ml)
  • Gel Cleanser.
  • 3-in-1 Cleanser.
  • Contains Goodness of Rooibos.
  • Removes Dead Skin Cells.
I really loved how soft this cleanser was while feeling the soft grains gently exfoliating your skin, the scent is also amazing after using it for some time I'm happy with the product.

All in all I think the Clicks Skincare Collection is super affordable and I would like to test and try the other collections and product. It is super budget friendly especially the 3 for 2 promos.
I would purchase the rooibos brand again especially if I'm on a budget.

Review : Eucerin UreaRepair Plus 5% Urea Body Cream

 Hi Beauties ,

#TradeExchange

I was sent over a a Body Cream from Rubybox and Eucerin to Test and Review and I was super excited to be part of the test and review group.

Eucerin UreaRepair 5% Urea Body Cream - Review

I've been using the Eucerin UreaRepair Plus 5% Urea Body Cream for a couple of months now and I must say I am very happy with it, before I give my final thoughts here is a little more info on the Eucerin Body Cream :

  • Fragrance Free
  • For those who suffer from dry , rough skin or those that suffer with psoriasis
  • Gives immediate relief
for my OG readers you know that I suffer from psoriasis / eczema from time to time and I have been sharing some products that work for me so I was very excited.

I've never used Eucerin products fully before beside using my moms Sunblock mildly and I loved it because I only heard/read great things from the brand.

When applying the body cream after first application I can definitely say it is smooth and super hydrating.

The area I put it to test was behind my ears and legs as I have flaky skin because currently that is the area suffering the most at the moment. After a few applications I can say that it does make a difference and the flakiness have not been that much since using the Eucerin Repair Cream. So all in all its a very moisturizing cream and the are will stay hydrated for a period of time and great if you have DRY SKIN.
I would definitely use this product again for certain parts of my body it helps a lot where it is dry.

I would suggest that you should not use it on any broken skin as it will burn and not on your face if you have super sensitive skin , because sometimes it does leave a burning sensation once applied.

Let me know if you have used the Eucerin UreaRepair Plus 5% Urea Body Cream and how you found it?

Retails for R249.99

Have a lovely weekend.

Stay Fabulous

Review : Avene Thermal Spring Water

Hi Beauties,

Its been ages and this post has been sitting in my drafts so here it is, a product that I love that I really wanted to share!

OMG ! let me just say that I have been dying to try this product forever since it launched I've been itching to test it because I only read great things about this brand.

So I've been using this since October last year, clicks had a sale and I had to take the opportunity and purchase because it was worth it. I got the 300 ml and can you believe its only finished now after using it like crazy I'm surprised its lasted so long.

The cool thing about this product is that it can be used for soo many things like:
  • Irritated skin
  • Sunburn
  • After Shaving
  • Facial Redness
  • Make-up removal
  • Skin irritations
  • After Exercising and even diaper rashes
How great is that this one product is like an all rounder! right? I love it
Super glad I had it for the Summer season I was literally using it everyday to cool off especially my mom she can't get enough of the spray and I've also been using it for my eczema which helped a lot it gave relief for all the itchiness. Every visitor we had we recommended the product like we were getting commission haha that's how great it is!

Avene will definitely be a products I will invest in , I am very keen to try the other products (I do have the face wash review coming soon). When I do see promotions I will purchase especially the Thermal Spring Water I see this being a permanent product for my skin/body for years come.
I rate this product 5/5

Have you used the Thermal Spring Water Before ? Do you love it and does it work for you ? I would love to know please comment below. Also which Avene products do you think I should try next?

You will find the Thermal Spring Water at Clicks and Dischem and their online stores.

Have a lovely day and thanks for reading I really appreciate it.

Review : Kudu Cosmetica

Hi Beauties

Today I have another brand I can add to my LOCAL SERIES - a skincare brand called Kudu Cosmetica that I discovered and they were kind enough to send over two of their products from their range for me to try out. I received it last year soo I have been using it for some time now and its purely amazing and yay they 100% cruelty free and whenever possible they support locally and support small local businesses in Africa.

#GIFTED

Here is some info on the following products they sent me and my thoughts below:

MASQUE - water activated facial mask that will purify , repair and relenish your skin.Deep Cleansing mineral rich clays work together with potent bio- active botanical extracts and natural anti-inflammatory agents.

You guys know how I love testing masks and I was even more excited because it was powder based and I haven't tried a mask like this before. I also could not believe how quick it dries and how clean and fresh ones face feels after like it stripped all impurities away.

SQUALANE SERUM/OIL- helps skin retain natural moisture, improving texture and tone.

When applying this to my skin I instantly felt the softness. Normally I feel very hesitant about facial oils because I'm afraid it will make my skin oily or because I tried an oil (can't remember the brand) and it left my face feeling super oily and never tried it again , but the squalane oil gave me a different outlook in using facial oils and this one being the first part of my facial routine I think it definitely makes a difference to the skin especially in winter.I also love the fact of how light it feels on the skin and has no greasy feel once applied.

Final thoughts - I experienced no sensitivity and skin felt amazing. The products that were sent to me are pricey for those with a budget but I think is / will be worth every penny and yay for no harmful ingredients. I will most definitely be purchasing in the future. Thank you Kudu for GIFTING me with your products.

p.s ... I shared with mom and sister who has a different skin type and they absolutely love the products.
also super excited to try their cold-pressed oils which are at a very very affordable prices which also has great benefits for the skin soo you have no excuse to give this great brand a go

Hope you enjoyed this review , if you do purchase please let me know your thoughts after using any of their products . I know I'm very keen to try some of their other products out.

You can check out their site for other amazing products and shop till you drop -  SHOP NOW - KUDU

Review : The Body Shop - Elderflower Unperfumed Cooling Eye Gel

Hi Lovelies

It's always good to be back hope you all well 😊today on the blog I have a review on a product that is a bit different - ELDERFLOWER Unperfumed Cooling Eye Gel by The Body Shop.

As soon as I saw this on The Body Shop Instagram page I was immediately interested because I have this thing when I have a lack of sleep my eyes begin to strain and has that pulling one side feeling if you know what I'm trying to say. I also have dark circles soo when I don't get enough sleep it will literally show the next day along with some puffiness under the eye area. I was very keen to give it a try , went to the body shop and purchased it straight away.

After using it for some time now here are my thoughts :
Firstly I love the moisture it adds to my eye area because I don't really use eye cream (which I should) and don't really put much product in the eye area I love that the product is for the under eye and gives it the moisture it needs. It definitely doesn't take away the dark circles but I do find that it gives the eye area a refreshing look especially for the puffiness part. I also like the gel texture because when my eyes were feeling tired and strained it gives that awakening boost with instant cooling and soothing.

Why you should give this product a try:
  • Acts as a moisturizing gel.
  • Soothes and refreshes skin around the eye.
  • Great for tired and puffy eyes.
  • Not sticky.
  • Non fragrant.
The Eye Gel retails for R100 and I would purchase again. I would say that the tub is a bit small and not sure if you would splurge but if you do have extra cash give it a try.

Tip: Place container in the fridge for extra coolness.

Available at The Body Shop Stores. Hope you enjoyed this post and have a wonderful day.

Review : LUX Even Tone Beauty Soap

Hi Beauties

Firstly thanks to RubyBox for sending over some soap for my friends and myself to try out.

My first impression when seeing the soap is the beautiful flower detail it has and was impressed by the whole design of the LUX EVEN TONE soap. I can't remember when last I used a lux bar soo I was super stoked when I got sent some to test and review.

What also caught my attention is that when applying the soap to my face there was no need to use my exfoliating face scrub because the soap acts as one too as it has tiny grains within the soap soo yay a cleanse , exfoliate and not forgetting that it has evening vitamin B3 to leave skin EVEN toned.
I also love the fact that it is lightly fragrant and find that it does not irritate my skin in any way as I do have sensitive skin. I also got the hint of cocoa butter immediately and can feel the smoothness once the soap is used , I honestly love it more because cocoa butter.

Why you should give the LUX Even Tone Beauty Soap a try:
  • Acts as an Exfoliator
  • Leave Skin smooth and fresh after each wash
  • Lightly Fragrant
  • Affordable
You can find these at many outlets such as clicks , dischem , shoprite at only R13.99 for 175g soap.
To find more reviews you can visit Rubybox

If you have tried the soap let me know in the comments below or on social media . Thanks for reading till next time...

Review : LuluBee Skin-Health Products

Hi Beauties

I've decided to reach out to some brands to start an awesome series on my blog where I introduce awesome LOCAL Brands or brands that need to be discovered because they awesome.

I came across Lulubee and saw they had skincare products, you know how I love trying out new skincare products and what immediately caught my attention was that they had a product for psoriasis, I will chat about this in a bit. I then reached out to Lulubee and they were kind enough to send me most of their products to test and review and I must say I love it otherwise I would not be blogging about it and bonus they not expensive at all yay!

Some info on the LuluBee Range
All their skin product formulations are 100% natural active ingredients made all from
Botanical plant-oils from freshly foraged plants , raw beeswax and Essential oils and this is what I love that it is all natural . Read more about the brand here .

Here are my thoughts below:

DEVINE HEALER SALVE - R190

This product is legit the bom.com and the one that initially caught my attention because I saw it helps with eczema, I have psoriasis after applying the balm it leaves the dry patches nourished and eventually keeps the flakiness away. I give this particular product 10/10 as I loved it since the first use. It's basically a first aid in a jar (does that even make sense lol). It helps with everything it says on the site , it definitely helps with insect bites and takes the itch away instantly . I even got my family members to try it and they love it. It helps with soo many things such as cuts , colds and flu oh ladies its great for your heels of your feet , yup you know what that sandals does to them heels.

IMMORTELLE FACE BLAM - R170

When I first applied this product I was like this is not going to work for me I found it to be very oily but then changed my mind because about 5min later I found the product to be soaked into the skin and also found it to be good for some dry areas on my face. I don't think I will suggest this product to those who have oily skin. I do think this product is a great transitional product from autumn to  winter or if you have very dry skin.

BEE-LICIOUS BODY BALM - R190

I love how conditioning this product is great for areas such as your elbows or knees. I love the fact that it has chamomile and soothing properties and is perfect to use when you come out of a lovely shower. The Body balm definitely goes by its name because the scent is just amazing.

LIP NECTARS - R60

There are two scents available in these lip balms lime and jasmin and mandarin and ylang ylang which are absolutely divine. Both these lip balms are super hydrating to the lips which is perfect for the winter season and especially to those who have dry dry lips, it has a oil which is high in vitamin C to repair damaged skin.

REUSEABLE BEESWAX FOOD WRAPS

The Lulubee brand also stands by the ZERO WASTE POLICY which I totally agree on as I too came to the party to try to save our planet by Reduce , Reuse , Recycle and taking small steps to follow on the eco way. The Food wraps can be used to wrap your leftovers or your lunch and is washable which is perfect. Soo if you want to start natural food storage you should give it a goo its really cool.

To shop these LuluBee products - Shop LuluBee

After testing the products for a few months I must say I am very happy with what the brand has to offer. I especially love the DEVINE HEALER SALVE its my favorite from the products as it works for many things. In all I am happy with all the products and what it does to the skin.

Thank you LuluBee for GIFTING me these products, I will sure be purchasing soon. Support Local and support small businesses it means the world trust me :)

If you loving the LOCAL SERIES please let me know.

Although I'm always trying new products out especially skincare I think this particular range will be one of my all time faves that I will always go back to and will be on my shopping list if I'm not testing other skincare products. I have received African Extract products as gift from a family member before and loved the brand and I was very keen to try the facial products. I was super excited when I walked into DisChem and found a gift set range for only R109 score! (Be sure to look out for deals like these especially if you not sure about the product and want to try it out or want to score and save a couple of bucks)

Below is a little breakdown and thoughts on the classic range

  • Great face wash to take your make up off.

Toner- R62.99
  • Alcohol Free
  • Leaves skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

Moisturizing Day Cream SPF 15 - R69.99

Review : Lush - Bubblegum Lip Scrub

Hello Beauties

I've always wanted to purchase something from the LUSH store ,about a month ago I decided to pop in for the fun of it and came across a product that actually came to my favor.

Lately my lips have been looking rather dry and chapped but thanks to the lip scrub I found at LUSH it's looking more smooth and less chapped.

It comes in three scents Bubblegum , Popcorn and Mint Julips and obviously and went for bubblegum because it was pink and the smell was just amazing I could not resist.

What I love about this product:
  • The scent is amazing.
  • Conditions lips.
  • Takes away any dead skin on the lips.
I've added this to my routine by exfoliating my lips atleast once a week. It retails for R105.00 at Lush which may seem too much for a scrub in a small container but really ladies once you have used this product you would want to get you the other scrubs as well.

Overall this being my first product form Lush, I do see myself going back to the LUSH store to get the Popcorn and Mint Julips Scrubs to add to my collection and other products which I'm excited to purchase and hopefully share some reviews with you.

I rate this product 5/5.

Review : Essence Soft Touch Mousse and Essence Camouflage Cream Concealer

Hey Beauties

I have a beauty post up , all about the Essence Soft Touch Mousse and Essence Camouflage Concealer. I'm always on the look out for some affordable cover ups because I'm one that don't usually wear foundations/mousses everyday but like a good cover up now and then.

Essence Soft Touch Mousse - 02 Matt Beige

I love the fact that the coverage of the mousse is good enough to last a couple of hours and for the price I think it's actually worth it . I took the shade 02 matt beige for myself as I'm fair in complexion. I'm already on my second tub soo... yup I'm happy with the product.
I would like to buy the darker shades to experiment with some contouring. (Retails for +/- R64)

Essence Camouflage Cream Concealer

I think this will probably be one of my favourite concealers because before applying the mousse I take a small brush and cover all my marks and under -eye area (cough cough you know them dark circles). I must say I do actually love a liquid concealer but this one does what it suppose to do and happy with the outcome once applied. (Retails for +/- R54.00)

If you a beginner at make-up like me or just looking for products to give you a basic look and looking for affordable cover up make up to experiment with then I say go ahead and purchase these from Essence and let me know what your thoughts are.

These products can be found at Clicks , DisChem and PnP stores

I hope you loved this review short and sweet and thanks for reading.

I absolutely love reviewing skincare products I don't know why its just super interesting. In today's post I share all my current facial products I'm using at the moment.

1. Drops of Youth Sleeping Mask by The Body Shop

Helps eliminate blemishes.

6. Black Head Clearing Mask by Avon
Really loving my current mask which I put on weekly it really helps with my blackheads, it’s a really good mask if you looking for a deep cleanser for your face.

7. Eyewise intense hydration firming and plumping cream by Almay
This eye cream in my opinion makes my eye area look more firm which I love.

Review : Yardley Oatmeal Exfoliating Scrub

Hey Beauties

I'm totally a lover of testing exfoliators I might be obsessed hehe... if you have been reading my blog for a while I'm sure you came across my reviews on other exfoliators. The exfoliator I'm currently using is from the Yardley Oatmeal range and I must say I'm impressed.

Why you should give it a try:
  • face seems more refreshed once exfoliator was used.
  • soap free.
  • takes away impurities.
  • scars seem to fade after a few uses.
I must say that the grains of the exfoliator is much more grainy than my other exfoliators but no sign of sensitivity which is great. I also forced my siblings to use the scrub and they've been using it ever since and the results was amazing as their skin had more scaring than mine and I could see a difference too once they used it.

oh..and just to let you know when I used the scrub I did not purchase the toner and moisturizer from the range(as I'm finishing off my other products which I'm using along with the scrub) to use along with it but nevertheless I'm still happy with the results and I'm going to try and purchase the rest of the products.

You can find the scrub at Clicks, Edgars, PNP and selected pharmacies and only retails for R79.95

Hope you enjoyed this post, my current facial/skin products in a post soon, till next time ...

Review : Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Hi Lovelies

I know this particular product have been on the market for some time now but I thought that I have to share as I finally got my hands on it after seeing the whole craze on social media. If you love make-up and looking for a good make -up cleanser you have to try the ' Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water'. I took the on the go size just to test it out and I must say I love it after using it a few times already.

As you know I'm not the one to really wear make-up but there are those days when I feel like being all done up or even the simple products I wear like eyeliner or just blush but nevertheless you know how it is after a full day of make up you just want a fresh face again this product does wonders. I took the 'Even For Sensitive Skin' and I love how it does not even leave a sting and is literally like water(without actually going to the tap lol).

Why you should give it a try:
  • Removes make-up gently(take one of those cotton pads and remove make-up).
  • Hydrates the face once applied.
  • No need to rinse
  • Great for those who have sensitive skin.

Product can be found at Clicks , PNP , Dischem. The 400ml retails for R79.95 and the 125ml(on the go size is about R30 odd if I recall correctly)

Have you tried the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water? What are your thoughts?

Review : Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser

Hey Lovelies , Happy Thursday

This review was meant to be posted last year already but did not get a chance to do so, anyway so glad I get to do so now.

It took quite awhile for the BABY SKIN Instant Pore Eraser to reach to South Africa but thank god it did as its such a beauty steal if you on a budget and cannot afford those top brand primers. And how cute is the packaging???? I'm such a sucker for cute packaging so when I finally came across it (sometime early last year) I had to purchase.

When applying the primer to my face it felt soo smooth and soft perfect for a pre-make up base as it smoothes those unwanted pores on your face.

According to some reviews I read some was not so keen on the product as they said it made their face oily or its not effective. I find the product to work pretty fine because I can see a difference when applying my foundation or BB cream my face tends to look smoother.

I have tried a sample of the Benefit cosmetics POREpessional and it seems that it could be a better primer but nevertheless I have no bad points on the Baby skin pore eraser. Besides using this primer I do use others in between just to test and will blog about this in the future.

Why give this product a try:
  • It only retails for R90
  • Great for smoothing out pores and fine lines
  • Can be worn alone
I also did not seem to have any breakouts. Let me know on social media or in the comment section below how you find this primer did it give you any breakouts or oiliness.

Instant pore eraser can be found at your local retail stores

Have a fantastic day.

Review : Garnier Even and Matte Radiance Scrub

Hey Lovelies

After using this particular face scrub (exfoliator ? Scrub? same difference right?haha) for awhile now I thought it's time to write up a review. Recently I've been trying my best to keep up with my skin routine.

I came across the Garnier Even & Matte Instant Radiance Scrub while walking in the supermarket and could not walk past it because the word 'even' caught my eye as my forehead typically the T-zone area which was not matching up with the rest of my skin tone.

My thoughts on this product would be that when I applied it to my face I could not resist the fresh smell which was somewhat exactly close to the scent of the Garnier BB cream .

The exfoliation process seemed more smoother than previous exfoliators I've used. What I loved about this product is that I have noticed is that my skin became more even especially my forehead.

The only thing that I have noticed is that my face had some sort of reaction of fine pimples , no burning or irritation to my skin its probably because I've used a different face wash and not the Garnier range.

Why try this product:

  • removes dead cells
  • reveals radiance
  • smoothes skin

I rate this product 3/5 ..but I will be purchasing this product again as I saw improvements in my skin tone.

You will find this product at clicks , pnp or dischem stores.

I'm a huge fan of testing out different exfoliators so expect more reviews. What is your current face scrub??

Review : Avon Nutraeffects

Hello and Happy Friday

On the blog today I discuss my new facial cleanser and toner that I purchased by Avon. I've been on the search for a everyday face wash for a long long time because I really want to get back into a skin routine again #thestruggle.

My cousin started selling Avon I went through the book and saw one for sensitive skin which was perfect for me and even better it does not cost a arm and a leg. Before I used the product I was not happy with my skin because it felt super dry especially my cheeks and T-zone area.

I love the fact that the cleanser is self-foaming along with the natural clean scent it has because when I apply certain facial products I get some sort of funny rash or sting afterwards but with this face wash I had none. After washing my face with the cleanser I immediately apply the toner which also have the same clean fresh scent with no sting after applying, leaving my face fresh and clean. My next purchase would be the day and night cream.

This product can be used on Normal/Combination/ Sensitive Skin.

Why try this product :
  • Not expensive
  • Great for sensitive skin

I rate this product 4/5
Theses products can be bought via avon reps.
You can view the nutraeffects range (click here)

I would love to know what face wash you currently using leave me a comment below or let me know on Social Media especially if you have sensitive skin . I would love to try them out.

Thanks for reading. Have a lovely Weekend.

Review : Experimenting With Creams

Hello Beauties.

Are you suffering with eczema or psoriasis? Its terrible , that constant itch and dryness can become so annoying, and now that the hot days are still upon us it triggers so much faster.

I've been using different creams at the moment to help me deal with this chronic 'irritation' , 3 to be specific.

Dermatological E45 Cream:

Great for daily moisture and relieves dry skin conditions. It has no scent which is great if you not one for using creams which contains scent. You can find this cream at pharmacies, Dis-chem and Clicks.

African Potato Cream:

My aunt actually bought this for me, to try out, in my opinion its also great for moisture and can be used for any Skin Damage and can be applied once you've finished showered or on a daily basis.

Wonder Cream:

The wonder cream has a menthol type scent and is a cream to help cure many ailments such as eczema, arthritis pains, pimples and marks on your face. This cream can be found at local pharmacies.

I rate all the above products equally because they all have a unique way of helping me with my eczema or psoriasis. (I sometimes apply all 3 and find it working wonders lol).

Is there any suggestions you can recommend I would love to try out some other products.\If you try these products let me know if it works for you.

Hope you enjoyed this post , Remember to subscribe to my blog to get updates whenever I post.

Review : Essence Ice Cream Range

Hello Beauties

I've been using these Essence products that I received as a gift a few months ago, and I'm loving the 'Me and My Ice Cream' range from Essence . I thought it would be perfect to post about these products since it is Spring and its perfect for the season(but Cape Town's weather lately I don't know lol) but anyway I cannot get enough of the collection, firstly because the whole range is all pastel colours which I love and secondly I like how neutral all the products are,as you know I'm not one that would easily rock bold make-up its rarely that I do so, once in a while is fine for me and this is just fine for my daily routine.

I love the eye shadow because it gives off a shiny look on your eyelids not looking too much(im not a fan of eye shadow really but this works for me.)

The shimmer pearls I can't get enough of ,if you looking for extra shimmer on your face this is a must try.

Want a bit of shimmer on your lips then this lip balm is perfect for you.

Looking for pink cheeks the cream blush can do that.

You can find these at clicks stores at an affordable price , there are more items such as nail polish, nail stickers and hand wipes , so get your Ice Cream Collection and let me know what you think?..because I totally love it :)

till next time

Review : Warming Mineral Mask

Hello Everyone I hope your February is going well , lately I haven't been posting as scheduled because I've been a a bit busy and I apologize..agh you know those days when you have no time on your hands but I'm trying my best anyhooo...I know some of you must be so stressed already only it being early in the year because of studies , work or basically anything that causes us to stress or work ourselves up unnecessary.

Sometimes we just need to take 10 min of our day and C H I L L

So today I'm sharing one of my favorite products that I've been using for sometime now, that helps after you had a full day or just want to pamper yourself giving you that SPA type treatment.

Warming Mineral Mask
Mask available at THE BODY SHOP stores.

I usually apply this mask once a week

The Warming Mineral Mask is quick and easy to use
  • Apply to wet skin.
  • Leave on for about 5 minutes
  • Rinse face with lukewarm water
tip: Cut two pieces of cucumber and place it on your eyes.

Why Purchase this product?
  • Deep cleansing
  • Perfect for all skin types
What I love about this mask is that as soon as you apply it , it heats your face giving it a warm feeling and leaving your face looking fresh as ever.

Remember ladies its ok to take 5 minutes or more and break away from the world and just pamper yourself.

Review : Garnier Ambre Solaire UV Sensitive

I don't know about you, but I'm extremely cautious about protecting my skin against the sun. Lately I cannot seem to find the right product for my face or body as it seems to react and doesn't go with my skin type when using certain products causing it to give a irritating reaction.

At the start of the summer period I was looking for a sunblock that would agree with my skin type and found the GARNIER AMBRE SOLAIRE UV SENSITIVE SPF 50+, and was more than happy because the higher the SPF the better (who likes to be burnt anyway lol) .
Anyway I thought why not give the product a try and I was impressed.

Why give this particular product a try :
  • It contains Vitamin E
  • Great for those with sensitive skin.
  • Prevents sun damage
  • High SPF
What I loved about this sunblock or face protection cream as they call it, is that it does not leave that much whiteness on your face and found it better compared to some other sunblocks I used because its not that greasy.

You can purchase this at clicks at v&a Waterfront

Tip: If the sun is not out the day still apply your sunscreen and also
remember to always apply your sunscreen 15min before sun exposure.

What I did in the week because it was so hot and I was heading out I applied this before applying my BB Cream (Click here to read review) and it still gave me a finished look not a greasy looking face.
(psst.. some products may not work for others so always be careful what products you use.)

So if you have sensitive skin this product may be the one for you :)

Feel free to comment below :)
Hope you all have a good day further.
