Some Exciting News and Styling The Lorine Sunglasses by AMINA Glasses

 Hi Beauties

Firstly I hope everyone is doing great and coping with the pandemic its been rough and ohkay but we dealing hey.. what can we do. All I'm glad for is that I have a post for you because I miss gathering up a post 😊.

I have some exciting news.. well to me its kind of a proud moment , not that big news but I'm proud to say that I'm an Ambassador for AMINA Sunglasses - Curated Eyewear for Warrior Women.

I was super stoked when I was chosen to be part of their selection and think that their brand stands for something more powerful than just eyewear. Their message behind their brand is to celebrate or remind Women that we are STRONG , INDEPENDENT and that we are MIGHTY,we walk tall and take pleasure in the beauty of the world.

Well lets get to the point of this post - They asked me to pick one of their eyewear pieces and I had to style them , super exciting as I love sunglasses. I chose the Lorine Pair because I think having a good black pair of sunglasses is always a must in your collection.

I've taken these pictures a while back and just did not have the motivation or time to post. While Cape Town is still experiencing weather of all seasons I thought it would still be appropriate to post this look which a winter look styling my Lorine's.

About this look :

I decided to style my lorine sunglasses with a look that is comfortable with some edge and a pop of soft colour. Because Teddy coats was huge winter I had an excuse to put on mine which I actually got as a gift last year. I decided because the Teddy Coat was Baby pink I used it to elevate the rest of the look by wearing my black pleather pants, black converse , black lorine's and a beige jersey to soften the look. I also tied my hair in a pony with soft curls to bring the look together.

If you loved how I styled my outfit please leave a comment down below I would appreciate it and mostly I hope you loved the post.

Also if you do purchase a pair of sunglasses from Amina please tag me and them I would love to see.

Trend : Culottes

Hi Lovely Beauties

Lately I've been living in my culotte pants and my collection is kinda growing, they just too comfortable and I think I'm obsessed all over again.... let me give you a little back story going back to my childhood I remember owning a denim pair that I wore all the time I mean ALL the time with my ridiculous pink sneakers and colourful type jerseys haha... but as I got older I grew out of wide style  - palazzo , pajama pants as some call it and thought its not such a cool vibe and switched over to the SKINNY LEG , come on I know you did too.

Anyway flash forward to 2018 the CULOTTE has become one of the most popular trends in my opinion seeing it at many fashion outlets and I must say I think it's here to stay throughout 2019 into our autumn/winter season back to spring/summer this year.

Here is a look I wore to a wedding on how I styled my pleated culottes let me know what you think?

I'm excited to style my culotte pants for the upcoming autumn/winter season . If you would like a post on how to style culottes or just a general lookpost to see how else I styled it , let me know.

Are you a fan of the culotte trend? let me know in the comments below :)

How To Style Your Red Boots

Hi Beauties

Styling red boots can be tricky for some and I don't think one will purchase it that easily, but when I saw this particular pair which was also available in very basic colours I don''t know what persuaded me to take the red. I was just drawn to it and thought to myself I can make it work.

Posting about Red Boots have been on my mind far too long , funny thing is.. it's super trendy this year and have spotted in several stores. I've had this pair 3 years and never wore it because I was a bit too skeptical to wear them and thought it would be the perfect time to turn this into a post and showcase how I wore my Red Booties.

In my look below I played it very safe in my opinion keeping it simple with a stripe tee (which you can never go wrong with) along a basic blue jean, a cap all in similar colour tone and earrings with a pop of red to tie the look together but also think I wanted to make the boots the centre of attention.

So if you a bit skeptical like I was start matching your boots with the items above before you match with prints or more bold clothing. I'm very keen to experiment matching my boots with more prints and other fashion pieces although red boots are super statement enough already I think it can create a fun look.

On the verge of buying some red boots? Here are a few fashion items you can pair with your red boots to get you started:
  • All denim
  • White shirt/tee with jean
  • All Black
but... if you are not scared of clashing colours and prints with your red boots go ahead because I think it will anyway bring your whole look together along with your great style.

Did you like how I styled my Red Boots ? Let me know in the comment section below or comment on my social media posts or even tag me on twitter I would love to see.

I know I know I say this all the time whenever I'm on some break , no excuses but I want to try and create good content than for the sake of posting.

Damn.... its been a while since I had time to sit and actually write something for you. After a few days of coldness the weekend past we were surprised by some wonderful sunshine and warmth and I must say I'm secretly missing summer although I do enjoy winter days.

Now into the next weekend I am still trying to finish off this post and thought it would be perfect because its a beautiful rainy Friday afternoon, everyone is in their own space and I thought its perfect to finish up this post that I've been trying to get up for the longest time ever.

Spontaneous Adventures and Winter Layers

Hello  ðŸ˜Š

You might be thinking that my post Title might totally be off or not too fitting for my blog but hey sometimes spontaneous adventures can turn into a awesome photo shoot yaaassssss !

The initial plan for the day was to stalk the maze runner cast in town (gosh I'm such a fan of Dylan O'brien #fangirl alert #sorrynotsorry) since my sister had to be picked up from uni in Town I thought I'd take the chance. It was super cold , overcast and a bit of rain here and there but I was willing to take the chance of catching a glimpse of the set or simply hoping to bump into anyone one of the cast members (I'm that cray).
Anyway I'm sure you don't want to hear me fan-girl all through this post soo... let me get to the point.
Stalking mission totally FAILED ,  my sister then messaged me to bring the camera along and I did so, she then nagged dad to take us up to Signal Hill but eventually landed up at Devils Peak , Table Mountain. Yep ..we love those random adventures.

About this look:
My aim was to experiment with a layered look and I think it turned out to fit perfectly with the weather. I can't explain how obsessed I am with my Denim Jacket from The Fix I can pair it with most of my outfits because it tends to go with everything. I'm a huge fan of beanies in winter its one accessory that you will always see me rocking in the winter season. Lastly don't you love blanket scarves ? Ladies its defz a must have! if you don't have one please head on over to the shops and get you one you won't regret it so warm the bigger the better.

About this look:
I've been loving stripe tops lately I don't know why but if I could own them in different colours that would be awesome. I used my stripe top to break the rest of my outfit and a figure belt to enhance my sleeveless coat even more as most of my outfit was all black toned . I then added my pink bag accessory and hat to complete the look.

OOTD : Happy Spring With Some Winter Chills

Hello All , its Thursday which means one more sleep till the weekend yay !
I've been meaning to do this post for a long time and is way overdue but did not get the chance to do so. As we all know Spring season begun but here in Cape Town not so much, the sun may shine but there's a wind in the air that still gives us the winter chill.

In this look post I will be styling this gorgeous poncho from Hannah Collection which I won about a month ago (lucky me), along with the most comfortable jegging from Mr Price(you have to get of these beauties comfy for days trust me) and this floral top from a local store. I used the floral top in this specific look because it gave some hint of spring. I then added a geometric statement necklace to give it that extra edge and my Nike sneakers to give it that casual look.

What do you think about my spring look?

(Trying to get some Spring Sunshine lol).

I have a giveaway soon so make sure you following me on social media especially facebook :).

I've Got That Navy Feeling

Hello All

I hope you had a lovely long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it.
About a month ago I purchased a Bodycon striped dress by Mr Price ,when I got to the till I was even more happy that it was marked down 'yay me'. I love the fact that it is so fitting for the weather because Cape Town seems to be only really having winter now. I also think its a great dress all year round. I paired a navy tights also from Mr P under the dress because it was a bit chilly and my jacket from Mango which I'm finally wearing(have it almost a year and only wearing it now, you must be thinking whaaaat?, I know right #hoardermuch)  I went all navy in this particular look I guess I was in the mood for the colour Navy as always.

Tip: If you feel like dressing a bodycon dress up a pair of heels will look good with it or some funky boots and a leather jacket for a chilled look.

So what do you think of my look? How do you style your bodycon dress? let me know tweet me a pic, leave me a comment I want to know :) , oh before I forget to all you incredible women Happy Women's Month.

I see that MR P Online has the same dress still in stock but in the colour black (click here) and its priced to go (yesss bonus for you too). They also have some other funky bodycon dresses available go have a look on their site.

What I'm wearing:
