Review : Sorbet Body Spritzers

Hi Beauties

I discovered something cool from Sorbet Ranges- the Body Spritzers. I don't know if it's new to Sorbet ranges but it immediately caught my attention and because the packaging looked super interesting and I never tried a body spritzer before.

Anyway... I picked up In Full Bloom and Ocean Mist spritzers and I must say I am totally impressed and think its perfect to use when coming out of the shower or bath giving you that extra freshness. I also think that this is an item that should be added to your beach bag because after that swim in the ocean or sitting whole day at the beach it can be applied or if you decide to grab a coffee with friends or get a spontaneous ice cream , just spritz a few and you good to goo ..

In Full Bloom (100ml) - is the perfect scent for spring and for all those ladies who wants to make a bold statement and is also great to welcome the new seasons with its vibrant floral scents. I love how rich and bold it smell once sprayed on the body.

Ocean Mist (100ml) - is the perfect scent for all those beach babes or for those who love the ocean. This scent screams hellloooo summer giving you an instant airy scent and everything sea-scented once applied to the body.

Why you should give the Sorbet Spritzers a try:
  • Super affordable
  • Can be used from AM - PM
  • Leaves you feeling fresh
  • Available in great scents
I'm yet to try the other Spritzers available I think there is about 5 different scents but think i made the perfect first choice super happy and will definitely be purchasing again #YAYforBudgetFriendly.

Available at Clicks or Clicks online stores at only R39.99

Have you used any Body Spritzers before , please let me know below. I have my eye on a recently launched one too from another brand soo keep posted for a review.

Adventuring in my Sapmoks

Hi , its been a minute and I missed the feeling of typing out a blog post.

I'm back introducing yet another cool local brand that was kind enough to be on board to partner with me in exchange to bring you a fab content and be part of the Local Series on The Fabulosity Diary

SAPMOK is an all adventure brand with a unique product offering of hand-crafted shoes and products tailored to give and authentic feel and real life experience.

I decided to reach out to the brand because my family and I are always adventuring around and thought it would be a perfect fit and put my perfect hand-crafted Sapmok shoes to the test.

We headed to Cape Point for the day and thought it was great opportunity to rock my 'vellies' as South Africans call it. I was super excited as I had my whole outfit planned in my head and I must say I was super happy how my Sapmoks complimented the outfit and added character. Its something rather different because as you know I would probably wear my sneakers but loved that I have something new to add to my looks and I wanted a pair for ages.

I styled my Sapmoks with a white shirt , chino skinny a printed headband to tie the look together and a backpack. My look was very simple and gave me the feel of something I might wear on safari haha.

I must say when we arrived at Cape Point (my first time there) I wasn't to sure if these would be the most comfortable shoes since it being the first time being on my feet(you know that first time having to wear a shoe and its not comfortable and need to be stretched etc.)  but I was totally wrong and the brand 100% stands for what it say that it is made for adventure. and made for an explorer

Why I love my Sapmoks:
  • Comfortable
  • Made for walking , I was super impressed as there was loads of walking to do.
  • Stylish - I see myself rocking my sapmoks into my wardrobe because its very versatile and will share more looks on my instagram feed, make sure you following me.
  • Durable - I also know that this will last me years and years to come and will stick with me for future adventures.

I'm excited to take my Sapmoks on more adventures and suggest that if you an adventurer you should get a pair too. They honestly made for adventure. I might even hike with it and let you know my final final verdict - What do you think??

but for now my final thoughts on the hand-crafted shoe is that it is definitely quality and made to perfection.

Thank you Sapmok for gifting me and giving me the chance to represent your brand on my adventures.

Go ahead and check out Sapmok -  https://sapmok.com/ , they have an awesome selection of colours and other styles available that I too have my eye on.

Trend : Culottes

Hi Lovely Beauties

Lately I've been living in my culotte pants and my collection is kinda growing, they just too comfortable and I think I'm obsessed all over again.... let me give you a little back story going back to my childhood I remember owning a denim pair that I wore all the time I mean ALL the time with my ridiculous pink sneakers and colourful type jerseys haha... but as I got older I grew out of wide style  - palazzo , pajama pants as some call it and thought its not such a cool vibe and switched over to the SKINNY LEG , come on I know you did too.

Anyway flash forward to 2018 the CULOTTE has become one of the most popular trends in my opinion seeing it at many fashion outlets and I must say I think it's here to stay throughout 2019 into our autumn/winter season back to spring/summer this year.

Here is a look I wore to a wedding on how I styled my pleated culottes let me know what you think?

I'm excited to style my culotte pants for the upcoming autumn/winter season . If you would like a post on how to style culottes or just a general lookpost to see how else I styled it , let me know.

Are you a fan of the culotte trend? let me know in the comments below :)

Style Tips : Transition From Winter to Spring

I know some of you might find it difficult to put your spring wardrobe together after the winter season and because we not in full spring mode yet because the weather in Cape Town can be quite confusing.

Here are some pieces that I think will get you from Winter to Spring.

Light Jerseys
Because its not completely spring and the chill in the air can become cold, it is good to have about three jerseys that are versatile to mix in your wardrobe.

Pumps
As we slowly packing those boots away we slowly start bring out pumps as the days can get warmer. It's the perfect transitional piece because your feet is still semi covered.

Sandals
I'm going crazy seeing all the beautiful sandals in stores at the moment from simple ones to bold ones , it's always nice to have a new sandal to kick off the summer season.

Denim Jacket
I really did not make a mistake to get a denim jacket its become such a statement piece I'm wearing it all seasons #fact. I would say if you don't have one yet please girllll... do me a favour get yourself one and you will thank me (haha).

Stripe T-shirt/Sweater
I'm so happy that I stocked a few stripe sweaters now, for me stripes seem to add to the spring look and has made it rounds to the season over and over again, it is also a statement piece for the wardrobe which I think you can also wear all year round.

White Sneakers
Guys if you don't know me I cannot survive without white sneakers currently my All Stars are in a mess but luckly I have my Adidas to fill in which is btw very comfy , anyway if you not keen on wearing bold sneakers always opt for white because they are safe and go with anything.

Bold Jewelry
There are sooo much trending jewelry pieces at the moment , I would say play around with different styles and see what style suits you best. I'm loving tassels at the moment.

About this look:
My look below is very simple and what I prefer and a very basic #OOTD , it was quit chilly although it seems like the sun is out and about. I,m totally love my witchery jersey I also received as a gift its not a heavy weight jersey paired along with my denim jean and jacket and sunnies obviously , soo this is my basic transitional outfit.

I did a similar post last year on other pieces I mentioned to get you from winter to spring (Click here).
I hope you enjoyed this post and I helped you in a way because i know it can be tricky to change up your wardrobe , feel free to comment below and let me know if you also find it tricky to change your wardrobe from winter to spring.

#OOTD Tan Overload

Hello .... is it Monday already?? Damn where did the weekend goo!

Anyway...I ended the weekend off with a lovely afternoon stroll on the beach with the family.

About my Look:

Soo I've been thinking and my tan shoes from Foschini is going to be a huge part of my summer wardrobe and have a feeling I'll probably be pairing it with everything besides my white sneakers that will always make an appearance. What I'm actually saying is that if you don't have a pair of tan shoes/sandals girrrrl you gotta get a pair asap. I also think I will be stocking up a lot of white tops , I see many pretty lace tops in store at the moment I need to get my hands on one. If you a girl like me that can sometimes be very lazy to to chop and change bags or accessories daily then stick to tans , black or neutrals as I did with my bag , sunnies and cap then you good to goo and can pair it with almost all your outfits. I'm also on the search for a good denim jean any suggestions?as I desperately need one because I basically took this one from my sister before she put it in the throw out pile, but I love it because I like the fit (the struggle to find a jean that fit me properly)

I then went online browsing again and thought I'd re-create my look and gathered items similar to my #OOTD look to help you get your basics for spring/summer.

1. Sunglasses - Mr Price R59.99
2. Lace Top - Mr Price R89.99
3. Shoulder Bag - H&M R229
4. Straw Hat -H&M R249 (could not find a cap similar to mine but you will find at cotton on ...but on     the bright side a straw hat would look perfect too)
5. Denims - Foschini R550
6. Tan Sandal - Poetry R799

I hope you enjoyed this post , thanks for reading and have a great Monday.

Stay Fabulous

Pop Of Spring

Hey lovelies

Cape Town is slowly showing signs of warmer weather but Sunday was just lovely, it was all sunshine in the Mother City and the day could not be wasted at home. It was a well spent afternoon having late lunch with the family in Hout Bay catching up and enjoying the scenery.

I'm so excited for the upcoming season as we see lots of lighter colour clothing in stores that just scream spring/summer which is super exciting. I seriously need a shopping spree, I'm already eyeing so many items in store from quirky shoes to beautiful dresses.

Having trouble transitioning from winter to spring? Here are some must haves just to get you started:
  • White Jean
  • Versitile Sandle / Shoe or Sneaker
  • White Shirt
  • Maxi Dress
  • Sunglasses
then... obviously there are the trending items such as the off the shoulder tops , pajama like pants with the funky patterns which you can buy in between if its your style or if you have a little extra cash to splurge.

In my look below I'm wearing my super comfy white jegging , a white top and layered it with a super lightweight peach jersey paired with my new favourite tan sandle (did you notice? I'm not wearing sneakers lol) and a backpack to complete the look along with a bold statement to break the outfit a bit and duuhh cannot leave those sunnies behind. It was refreshing dressing in lighter colours and weird wearing sandles after a long long time...yay! bring on those summer days.

Hope you enjoyed this post , thanks for reading and Have a lovely Tuesday :)

Trend : 70's Fashion

Hello Lovelies

The trend which is strongly alive right now is the '70's Trend'. Every shop you walk into you bound to find some fringe , tassels , round sunnies, chokers and not forgetting those flare pants catching your eye. There are so many pieces you can add to the list that will give you that 70's feel.

My opinion about the whole 70's revival this season is that I absolutely LOVE it, the look is super laid back. I love the different textures , retro prints , layered jewelry and effortless hair.

What do you think of the 70's trend? Have you purchased any cool pieces let me know or tweet me some pics.

I spotted some awesome pieces at Mr Price , Fashion Express , H&M so go check it out.

Have a fab Tuesday.

OOTD : Happy Spring With Some Winter Chills

Hello All , its Thursday which means one more sleep till the weekend yay !
I've been meaning to do this post for a long time and is way overdue but did not get the chance to do so. As we all know Spring season begun but here in Cape Town not so much, the sun may shine but there's a wind in the air that still gives us the winter chill.

In this look post I will be styling this gorgeous poncho from Hannah Collection which I won about a month ago (lucky me), along with the most comfortable jegging from Mr Price(you have to get of these beauties comfy for days trust me) and this floral top from a local store. I used the floral top in this specific look because it gave some hint of spring. I then added a geometric statement necklace to give it that extra edge and my Nike sneakers to give it that casual look.

What do you think about my spring look?

(Trying to get some Spring Sunshine lol).

I have a giveaway soon so make sure you following me on social media especially facebook :).

Summer is almost here

Hi Lovelies

Cape Town has been experiencing some really mixed up weather lately cold ,hot ,windy then cold again but nevertheless it is still Winter after all but so thankful that 'summer' weather being very keen to show up on weekends lately, aaahh nothing like some sunshine.

Over the weekend the weather was really lovely and I took advantage of this beautiful weather dressing in bright colours and prints.

Saturday Look
I settled for a printed harlem pants with a denim shirt, reflected sunnies and white tommy takkies to finish the look.

Sunday Look
It was such a beautiful sunny Sunday and I decided to be bright wearing a yellow maxi skirt with a striped black and white tee adding a tan belt with some leopard pumps.

This not being like my other 'look posts' because I had no time to snap further pics(sad) , but I wanted to share the spring/summer fever I've had over the weekend, I simply cannot wait to put more spring/summer looks together.

What do you think of my weekend outfits??

Are you ready to rock some bright colours and prints for the up coming seasons ??

Have a lovely Week ahead :)

till next time..

DIY : Turban Style

Bad hair day?? No need to stress, just add a turban to your head and you can turn heads. Grab your headscarf or 'doek' as some may call it or ready bought turban and get your styling on. There are various ways in which one can style your turban leaving your head looking fashionable as ever.

The turban trend seems to fit into all four seasons of the year hot or cold it seems to work for all occasions. I love the fact that it can add so much edge to an outfit , I've been so obsessed with turbans but don't find the courage to wear one and go out in public because personally I don't think it 'suit me' but I still love it and admire how great people look in their styled turbans.

Feeling lazy and don't feel like using a headscarf to make a turban? Well you know those plain coloured ready made turbans (you can just put on your head like a cap) that you can easily find at markets for R20 or more, which will also work well for a bad hair day.

I also decided to show and share a quick and easy DIY way to make a ready bought turban cap look chic.

All you need:

  • Broach of your choice
  • Ready bought turban
  • I love this broach because it has a vintage look.

Choose turban colour of your choice, so many to choose from ..I love this colour it will lighten up an outfit.

Attach Broach to the center , be careful not to hurt yourself.

    Quick DIY embellished turban.

And your DIY turban is complete :) (psst don't you love my model haha)

Tip: Be creative by adding flowers , head chains, or whatever you feel just be creative.

Here are some turban pics for more inspiration :

There are so many other ways one can style a turban than in the pics above, these are just some of my favorites I came across. (I do not take credit for these images)

Hope You enjoyed this post .. How do you rock your turban?? (Tweet some pics to me, I would love to see)

    Stripes Meet Summer

Stripes has been around for the longest time now. Stripes seem to wiggle itself into the different seasons whether it being horizontal ,thin , vertical , thick ,slant or just a small portion just to add some sort of detail to a garment.
In my opinion Summer definitely take the cake for the stripe trend, why? I just feel it reminds me of oceans and sailors , ok my reason might not seem convincing but you know what I mean right?? haha, it just gives out that boldness that allows one to stand out in summer.

On my holiday I decided to take some pics and do a look post on my stripe outfits, btw the scenery was just perfect that I had to share.
